24/7 Care- Like Google, only BETTER

Since we don’t have an ‘on-call’ period, we are available for support throughout your entire pregnancy and during the critical weeks postpartum with your growing family. When it comes to the unpredictability of your babies arrival, we strongly believe that you should be able to connect with your doulas whenever needed. We will set up a group chat with your doula team and on-call number as the initial first step in our service.

We Make it Easy

Right from the complimentary consultation, we come to you and work with your schedule for all of our meetings together.

2 is Better than 1

Team approach means more control when it comes to the relationships you build. In most cases, you are meeting the on-call medical providers the day of your birth, it is nice to know a familiar face that understands your preferences. Even doulas can get sick, have family emergencies or need time for self-care. Built in back-up systems allow you to know and trust that
all unexpected occurrences are taken care of.

When you bring your baby home, it’s hard to know in advance what time of the day, and how many days support will be best used. No need to know all of this right up front. Our flexible approach allows for customized care, daytime, overnight, consecutive days and even live-in support. The wealth of knowledge and combined experience of our team will help ease this new life transition.

Insurance

Every team member carries insurance and is held to the highest level of professionalism both by their training organization and also Helping Hands Doula

Only the BEST!

We are vetted that our clients receive the highest quality care possible; the foundation of which our reputation is built on. As such, team members are meticulously selected for professionalism, and highly trained from reputable organizations, lots of relative experience, with the same values and personality style. Additionally, the ability to provide unbiased care, as no two families are the same. There is no perfect way to parent, and having judgement free care is one of the number one values we focus on for a balanced approach for you and your family needs.

Continuing Education

Best practices in birth and newborn care are constantly changing. Our team is always participating in advanced training, as well as various workshops to stay current in our profession. Regular team meetings and check-ins help us stay connected and share our wealth of knowledge throughout the process.
