Registered Massage Therapist

The journey to parenthood can cause anxiety and tension and this can have an affect our minds as well as our bodies. During early pregnancy the hormone relaxin can cause our joints to have more mobility and the muscles surrounding those joints tend to tense up to create more stability. As your pregnancy progresses the weight of the baby and your growing body can cause your posture to shift and you may experience more upper and lower back pain. After delivery your body can hold quite a bit of tension from the birth and all the time you spend feeding and looking at your beautiful baby can put quite a bit of strain on your neck and shoulders.

Debra
The massage technique is among the best I’ve ever experienced. She’s so skilled at providing real relief from any pain or tension I’m feeling while still keeping me very comfortable and relaxed even in late pregnancy. I know she’ll be a huge help during labour to provide counter-pressure as well as a soothing touch to get me through. I wish I would have discovered them sooner, but I’ll for sure be a long time client going forward.
